Nearby are the historic attractions of Regency Bath and its Abbey Wells and its Cathedral and Glastonbury with its mystical Tor whilst for those seeking some retail therapy there is Clarks Village shopping outlet in Street. In the evenings there is a wide selection of local pubs and restaurants renowned for their good food or you can relax on the patio area and enjoy a glass of wine. The accommodation has been recently renovated to a high standard with modern appliances retaining many of the original features such as exposed beams and stonework and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin both having TV/DVD. Bathroom: with sloping ceiling and bath with shower attachment and WC. Separate downstairs WC with washing machine. Lounge: with TV/DVD and wi-fi connection. Kitchen/diner: with slate floor electric oven fridge with small freezer section microwave and radio. Use of tumble dryer in adjacent barn. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
